P.S.  Just an attempt at humour.  Suddenly occurred to me that without tone of voice to make it clear, somebody might offer me unnecessary sympathy.

My girlfriend, who is a lurker, told me she was startled until she read the second post, so it's probably just as well I put it.

Actually, the more I think about it, I could probably turn my cellar into a pretty cool dungeon if I could just figure out somewhere to put all the boxes of books it's full of at the moment.

Floor to ceiling shelves along one of the long walls.  Put the books on the shelves and throw away the boxes.  The rest of the floorspace can become a dandy playroom!

When I say it's full of boxes full of books, I mean that they *fill* the space.  But thanks for the suggestion.

It's ok.  I like the nearby countryside to play in.  The fresh air does me good.  And there are stinging nettles.

I've only played with nettles once, but I'm looking forward to repeating the experience in the summer.  I do so enjoy taking my girl for long walks in the country ...

I freely admit it.  There's something so lovely about it.  Walking along in the sunshine, stopping to give my girl a big hug while I stare into her eyes, watching the tears form because the way I am hugging her hurts quite a bit when your bra cups are full of stinging nettles.  What could be nicer?
