Tickling

I never liked the idea of tickling as a bdsm practice.  Always found it a turn-off in both erotic fiction, and porn.  Recently, after some beautiful experiences over the last weekend (birthday weekend in Amsterdam - legendary!) with a very ticklish paintoy, I have had cause to change my opinion.  Your thoughts?

It's all about what she likes and doesn't like.  If she is extremely ticklish, then that is a form of torture for her, though it may not seem like it to you.  It's finding her dislikes, whether they be pain or something else, and using them against her.
So I voted for the first option.

I get what you mean.  I think the unexpected plus for me was that I never realised how beautiful, and prolonged, the writhing, hopelessly trying to escape it, could be.

The true player uses whatever works, so I have no patience with that argument. I would also point out that after a certain point the ticklee is going to have some problems breathing and may in fact be completely hysterical and out of control. This can be very useful.

I realize that tickling can be, and has been used in some truly cheesy porn, but the cheesemeisters have not, and cannot diminished its effectiveness.

The best thing about it is, I think the look on her face, which can include shock, horror, hysteria, laughter, pleading, panic, and much more besides. There are no marks, and it provides a way to put her under severe stress without causing damage. (Assuming one is careful.) And if she is ticklish (And most women are) she can't ignore it.


So I say that tickling has a place in the arsenal. It isn't appropriate to every submissive, or every type of play session, but used properly and with care, it can be devastating.
