Dragon’s Tongue

This is a picture of my latest toy-making effort and is a prototype which will be refined in the next model.

Slapper is 3 oz suede finished pigskin leather - dyed purple. Handle is an oak wood handle painted black. 3 oz leather is about the same thickness as would be used for lady's dress gloves. It is thin, soft and flexible but quite tough.
 
Changes that will be made to the working model. Handle will be shorter - about 8 inches, I think. The one in the picture is 13 inches (old whip handle) and is too much for the weight of the slapper. Slapper will also be shorter. This one is about 28 1/2 inches. The working model will be 22-24 inches I think. This one works - but is slightly clumsy/awkward. Other colors are/will be available. Currently the available colors are - black - natural (tan) - red - blue - purple - brown and cream which looks pale yellow to me.

Thanks Quix - it is pretty and will really raise a welt. I think the working model will be even nicer but this one isn't bad for a prototype. My sub loves it - purple is her favorite color. She also hates it... for other reasons! Just like a woman - can't make up her mind - lol.

Thanks Doc - I've already tried a rough 8 inch handle and like it better. Working on a finished product now and will post a pic when done.

A quick update. I'm still working on a production model Dragon Tongue. Have made 3 prototypes - each slightly different - and sold 2 of them the day they were finished. In fact both were bought and paid for before they were finished. I'm slowly refining the design into a finished product. I promise to get a picture of the production model before I sell it - lol.

My sub and I are going to and setting up a booth at a Kink Flea Market this weekend at a dungeon here in Florida.

I decided to post some pictures of our products for all of you.

2 Nylon canes - 1 acrylic cane - 2 acrylic Evil Stiks - 2 needle brushes (thumbtacks on a lint roller - covered with gauze) - and a 'zipper' or clothesline with 24 miniature spring clothespins tied together

Flogger - 12 inch long black painted wood handle with 24 leather lashes each 1/2 inch wide and 24 inches long.
Lashes are connected to the handle by a chrome plated swivel and split ring. The lashes can be removed and replaced with other types of lashes quickly and easily.
