I love to read stories and write, and am always on the lookout for a good online rp partner...but for now i'm off to explore the dark alleys and shadowed depths of this unfamiliar place...hope you catch me later..

Hmm. I think this will honestly be the first time I can say that I look forward to meeting and being in the clutches of death...I can't wait to cry, scream, struggle, and beg for mercy inside your barn...let me know when that vacancy opens up

A barn features prominently in my latest story (one of the three I'm working on at the moment . . . for some reason I never seem to have just one project going).

In any case, I'll certainly keep you in mind.  Now I've just gotta get that barn built ...

Strange mental image.

Imagine the denizens of RPP in rural Pennsylvania, like the Amish, and you have a barn-raising.  An RPP barn raising.  (Whatever happened to that picnic idea?)

That may only be funny if you know about the Amish ...

I don't know too much about the Amish...They're usually so quiet and secluded. I do know that they make fantastic cakes and pies, and have awesome organic produce though! lol

I have driven past some of their communities in Pennsylvania Dutch Country, and noticed that many of them use a horse and carriage for transportation...  I guess then it stands to reason that they have a lot of barns there. I could definitely imagine old Jethro having animals of a more exotic, two-legged, breed in his barn along with, or instead of, the standard horses, cows and chickens...hmmm   

I Don't know if that's quite what you meant...but I know I'll never look at the Amish quite the same again...

When somebody in the community needs to build a barn the Amish have a barn-raising where everybody in the community comes and helps, and everybody eats together.  That image, plus sex slaves ... :-)
