I still don't get the whole torture scenario. I mean sure.. in "real life" where there is a prisoner, or spy, or someone that actually HAS information but doesn't willingly give it up - there is room for some good old fashioned wood under the fingernails.. but in a scene or "film recreation"?

I'm afraid I'm at a loss to grasp how a torture scene could be played out to any significant degree such that the torutree could benefit, and thusly provide the "real" responses necessary.

Besides, interrogation is a fun fantasy, which is, admittedly, hard to role play convincingly, but can be done quite well.  There are numerous Insex videos where the girl is interrogated about her past, and so on, which are at times mindblowing.

I'm really not sure how people might go about playing this sort of scene on a regular basis either, but one-offs sometimes offer the opportunity for a little taste. I was once in the situation that a conversation on embarrassing crushes was going on in my house, i commented that its no big deal and everyone has one. In response my partner demanded i disclose my own, which i refused to do (it is that bad!) prompting him to take measures to find out for himself. It worked out to be an amusing evening. In so much as i had my secret and i didn't want to give it up, and i was ultimately forced to do so, it was something like, but at the same time it was nothing like. There are limitations on the experience when its just a game. I'm pretty well assured he wouldn't damage me, knew there would only be so far he could possibly go, the secret wasn't that secret, etc, but for a game it was alright. Clearly this isn't the same thing as a politically charged real-world torturing, where a subjects information is of real and significant value, and the torturer has his choice of resources and no duty to care for the subject and the condition they would be in at the end of it all. I share your doubt that it is possible to play to that degree, nice though the thought is.

Also on the subject of playing out an interrogation scene, i know a lady who offers this kind of game amongst her Pro-Domme services, and i think she supplies a secret to protect and keeps the scene up through out however many sessions it takes her client to give the secret up. She likens it to a forced confession since she knows what they they will ultimately say to her, and her part is just to make them say it.
