- Apparatus of some sort (pipes, grid, bars, heavy furniture) of which a person could be restrained
- Duct tape
- Heavy restraints - something that doesn't take a lot of time to accomplish the goal (rope, in my opinion, just takes too long)
- A knife (or something sharp to aid in the removal of / or to cut access holes into pesky clothing)

Flexcuffs work great for rapid restraint. Reasonably priced, highly portable, and really quick to employ. I love them!  ;D
