The fellow who runs the kink.com sites (Peter Acworth?) has grasped a great truth about the smut business, which is that 99.99% of it is generic and interchangeable. Basically he's established a brand. (by which I mean he has "branded" himself, although he may have branded other people too, God knows) The point is that he's producing something that's actually worth paying for, which is rare in his business, and not all that common outside it.
I remember reading in the Wall Street Journal that he bought the armory building in San Francisco for his studio. I'm amazed that the City Council allowed it, but evidently they couldn't agree on an alternative use. The price was $14 million, which gives you an idea of how big his business actually is. And he built it by doing it better than anyone else.
By the way, I include Ale among the rnks of those who do it better than the rest, because RPP is also different from other adult story archives online. The writing is generally much better, and the material is different and distinctive.

I like a goth chicks to a point, and by that I mean I like slutty schoolgirl outfits with black boots. Piercings are ok but I don't like most tattoos but one or two at least lets me know they aren't afraid of a little pain.
The Kink.com guys officially have the greatest jobs in the world.

Probably true about the kink.com guys.
Although again, Alebeard deserves a mention. Nice work if you can get it.
Plus, unlike them, he has the incomparable Emma ...

Goth chicks are fine, but I
*really*
like the old punkers: they fight back! :D
From what I'd heard, they're also renting parts of the Armory out to local groups that want a stylish modern dungeon for their meets, or for area events that wouldn't be welcome at the Marriott...

I was inside that building during the last year. Its true, they are renting it out.
Mostly for seminars more than parties or other club functions, but still.
