Great visual sense.  The Gary Roberts in my brain had no trouble doing the illustrations.  :)

Anyway, this is a very cool story, very creepy and enjoyable.  It's good to see that you've gotten inspired again to write, VVV.  Keep it up! (And keep up the writing, as well).
