Looking for a few experienced folks that have knowledge in moderating, or are just addicted to participating and creating an active forum.  Also looking for people interested in free membership to rppstories.com in exchange for work categorizing by 'story code', and more accurate synopsis. Must understand and have some knowledge.  Send me a private message, or e-mail.   I like the little private messages.   ;)

Are you volunteering for something?    Since you are already are a moderator.. could it mean you wish to start combing through a menu or two at rppstories.com and Coding stories?     Ive had requests for coding from several readers and agree that it would make it easier to find the specific types of stories one was interested in if the Coding was at the top of each story.   Send me a message if you wanna give it a try.

Believe we have Sterling settled.

I suggested 6-7-8-9 for him.

I'm not volunteering for anything; I just want to criticise those readers.  I always found your little descriptions both informative and charming, and they usually let me know if I'd like the story.  Coding is useful, but impersonal.  They are ungrateful, Emma.

story code are like food nutrition labels.. some of us pay attention, some of us don't, and some of us go out of our way to avoid it altogether - at all cost.

Sometimes I get lax or I'm in a hurry and Ive gotten complaints when i write something like 'Another masterpiece from Quixote'   hehe    and so a mix of synopsis and codes make everyone happy.. as they can be.. some folks will always be grumpy about something... depending on my mood, I help them or laugh at them and then tell them why it was their own fault anyway before fixing it.

Momentary rant/pet peeve:   Grumpy people.  I had two emails this morning re problems with their website subscriptions.  Both having troubles logging on to their accounts.   One simply said he was having a problem, stated his 'start date' and asked for help, (he turned out to simply be expired and  he replied 'oops' in a friendly sheepish sort of way that made me smile) and the other had the crappiest attitude and demanded to know why his account wasn't working and told me I BETTER tell him why since I took his money!!   raaaar!!  Naturally i laughed at him and told him he was dumb and should actually use the login he chose and be sure to put a capitol letter in his password as HE had chosen in the first place.    I probably felt more annoyed than I conveyed in the email but it was enough to make me rant to Alebeard who was sitting next to me working... he ignores most of my rants about this type of thing..

so, a spoon full of sugar really does go a long way was my thought at the end of my emails...  Mean people suck...

thank you.. back to your regularly programed smut.

Since I am the new kid on the block so to speak I thought I would toss out some ideas here and see what you all think. Rather than a great deal of coding I would prefer stories was grouped by lenght and if the story is finshed or not. For example Long stories, meduim stories and short stories and the  sub catagory of finshed and unfinished. I must admit I hat having spent time reading just to find the story is not finshed and leaves you hanging but that is a personal pet peeve. To be honest I will have to admit I am quilty of an unfinshed story since the last 6 chapters to Devil's island have not been posted yet.
Another idea or suggestion. What about allowing reader to rate the stories on a scale from one to five? It would give both writers and reader an idea of what most like to read and what story plots are more interesting from the standpoint of what stories to post and write.

This will require a more intricate system that I would like to have but cant do at the moment.   The site is built using some very crude archaic html.  My goal is to get the site rebuilt using a database system that will allow for better search capabilities, ratings, search by, author, story length, title.. etc... but for now, I thought it was a good idea to at least have codes for folks that have specific fetishes or likes.
